NC Museum of Art wedding photos | Brad & Anna| Raleigh wedding photographer

Brad and Anna’s wedding took place at the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh, NC. It was really refreshing to do a wedding that wasn’t in a church. Its not often I get to photograph a wedding surrounded by 17th century art. The ceremony was held outside the museum and the reception followed inside the gallery.

Why did you pick the NC Museum of Art for your wedding venue?
We definitely both gravitate toward things that are quirky and a little off the beaten path. We went on one of our first dates at the museum. Two years later when we were looking at wedding venues, it just seemed perfect.
Why did you pick Michelle Gunton Photography?
To put it succinctly, we really appreciated that you were a photographer first and a wedding photographer second. Also, it helped that we very much liked your photos.
What was the best part of your wedding day?
We are both in total agreement about this. Our favorite part was being driven around in the golf cart, manned by the one and only Mary. Not only was it an absolutely beautiful evening, but it was a very welcomed brief respite from the crowd and an opportunity to go off by ourselves (with you, Michelle, of course 🙂 ) and just breathe for a minute.
