One of the reasons Merrimon Wynne House continues to be one of my favorite Raleigh wedding venues is the incredible variety it offers throughout the property.

The elegant front porch creates timeless portraits with classic Southern architecture, while the gardens provide beautiful natural backdrops that change with every season. Inside the historic home, large windows fill the rooms with soft natural light, creating clean, elegant portraits throughout the day.

As the evening approaches, the light around the property becomes especially beautiful. Stepping away for just a few minutes during sunset often creates some of the most romantic photographs of the entire wedding day before couples return to celebrate with family and friends.
