Carlee Farm Wedding

Caleb & Breahna's Wedding at Carlee Farm

Caleb and Breahna got married at Carlee Farm on a day that could not have been more forgiving weather-wise — not too hot, not too cold, exactly the kind of day that lets a Carlee Farm wedding timeline breathe instead of racing the heat or the light. Breahna and her bridesmaids got ready up in the barn loft while Caleb and his groomsmen hung out downstairs, so even the getting-ready hour had two completely different visual textures happening under one roof. I always push to get as many portraits done before the ceremony as a couple is comfortable with, and Caleb and Breahna were on board — it meant more time with their guests during cocktail hour instead of disappearing for photos right when the party started. Somewhere in that stretch we ended up trucking through the fields, which is very much a Carlee Farm thing — this is a working farm first, and it shows in the best way once you’re out past the barn. Gena, who owns Carlee Farm, made the whole day easier — she’s hands-on in a way that takes pressure off both the couple and the photographer.
